The diagonal feed barrier is suitable for sheep and goats. This feed barrier is often used for larger animals, such as rams. The diagonal feeding barrier is also suitable for horned animals provided the horns are at the back, such as a Heideschnuck or a Tauernschecke. This feed barrier is not suitable for a Zackelschaf, for example. The diagonal feed barrier is suitable for feeding roughage such as silage or hay. With the feed barrier you can optionally order a feeding trough for roughage for even less waste and a fold-up trough for feeding concentrates such as pellets. The diagonal feed barrier is galvanised inside and out and finished with treated wood. This is a good protection against rust, but manure is very acidic due to ammonia and you can protect the zinc layer even better by painting Tenco Bitumen Construction Layer varnish on the feed fence (preferrably annually).
